#Bodysculpting, using the power of your mind.

Updated: Mar 22, 2019

The basic science of food &

exercise for mental & physical health & how hypnosis can help you to achieve it.

Creating the perfect body.

There are many popular myths & misconceptions about hypnosis, mostly generated through the media & reiterated by the general public, It is an area which admittedly, is still largely unknown, 'the why -it works-, not the how.' even within the scientific field, the science is proving that hypnosis works, but the jury is still out as to WHY it works. So it's not hard to realize, if the scientists can not quite tell you what it is, then how can the hypnotist plausibly expect the general public to understand it. However, the one thing that Doctors, Psychologists, Neuro-scientists, all agree on. IT works and as technology continues to improve so will the understanding of the true benefits that #hypnosis can offer.

#Hypnosis; Altering beliefs, Altering perceptions. Changing realities. When you see stage hypnotists getting people to do things on stage, its not the hypnotist in control, it is the individual, who has the ability to follow the suggestions or choose to 'pop' out of hypnosis, you can not be forced into hypnosis, if you choose to follow the suggestions given by the hypnotist then your reality will 'feel like' whatever is suggested to you, so yes, if you want it to happen, a hypnotist can give you the experience of 'clucking like a chicken', or ' extreme laughter', or that 'you have forgotten your name'. #Hypnosis can be a great deal of fun. So, to give someone the ability of feeling like 'their feet are stuck to the floor, can you imagine, how amazing it feels by changing someones reality to being 'CONFIDENT, HAPPY, MOTIVATED, etc, #Hypnosis can do this and so much more,

My body is a temple.

#Hypnosis can help you to reach your goals, whether it’s to help you choosing the right foods, or the motivation to exercise, allowing you to feel better about yourself. Naturally. Creating a new mindset.

If your looking to eat better, feel better, live better, a life without pain, from the many diseases that are attributed to stress, anxiety, dietary or sedentary lifestyles. Hypnosis is the way forward.

It has long been known that exercise is good for mental health, but the information of why & how is not prevalent to the general public & most importantly not advocated in schools. Knowing how it works gives people a better understanding to empower themselves to take back control and make decisions on how to live a healthier, pain free lifestyle.

Scientists at the University of Iowa have shown that we can increase the strength of our muscles and become fitter just by imagining working out. How cool is that? In their experiment they had one group of people flexing their little finger in five sessions a week for 4 weeks. They had another group just imagining the flexing but not actually doing it.

At the end of the study the scientists measured the muscle strength of each group. The group who did the physical flexing had increased their strength in their finger by 30%. The group who just imagined the flexing had increased their muscle strength by 22%. Just by imagining doing the exercises they increased their muscle strength. Imagine what you can achieve with the power of thought AND the power of dedication.

The average human is made up with approximately 37.2 TRILLION cells, Each of these cells mimics the body, so has a digestive system, reproductive system, nervous system,.. etc.. Nutrients from the foods you eat provide the foundation of the structure, function, and integrity of every cell in your body, from your skin and hair to your muscles, bones, digestive and immune systems. You are constantly repairing, healing and rebuilding your body & here’s how it works, and why what you put on your plate is so important: To enable healthy function of these cells, you need to supply the nutrients for optimum performance. Every cell in your body has a “shelf life” – a stomach cell lives about a day or two, a skin cell about a month, and a red blood cell about four months. So, each day, your body is busy making new cells to replace those that have “expired.” And most importantly, how healthy those new cells are is directly determined by how well you eat.

A diet filled with highly processed food that’s low on nutrients, doesn’t give your body much to work with. But a clean, nutrient rich, #wholeplantfoods eating plan can help you build cells that work better, and are less susceptible to premature aging and disease. On top of all that “regeneration” you’re always repairing your existing cells. This includes recovering from the wear and tear of exercise, as well as every day life, stress, strains, cuts & bruises. So for example, if you are feeling stressed out, try eating foods high in Essential amino acid, - which are building blocks to protein-. These nutrients help to raise serotonin (feel good chemicals) l which can elevate your mood, (Low serotonin levels are often attributed to #anxiety, #depression, #panic, #attacks, #insomnia, #obesity, #fibromyalgia, #eatingdisorders, #chronicpain, #migraines, and #alcoholabuse. #negativethoughts, #lowselfesteem, #obsessivethoughts and behaviors, #PMS, and #IrritableBowelSyndrome) and melatonin (a hormone produced by the PINEAL gland -which is a pea sized gland in the brain- that helps us to know when we wake & when we sleep.) It's the health of this gland that determines our quality of sleep. It is important to understand that it is during sleep that the body repairs itself & the brain processes events & emotions. It is vital to both mental & physical health to have a good sleep.

In order to increase both Serotonin & Melatonin, foods like, nuts, seeds, grains, legumes, chickpeas, seaweed, soy & whole grains, leafy green vegetables, broccoli, & various beans are the primary recommendations, -These can also be found in fish, meat, dairy & eggs, however, they bring a range of alternative problems, -If you have a diet which includes these items, I would recommend sourcing only organic products.-

Exercise is also good for releasing stress levels, So to create the energy required for a healthy workout brings us back to food. It’s not just what you eat but when you eat, that provides the optimum balance on how it affects your body & your mind. Exercising on a full stomach can be as ineffective & uncomfortable on your body as exercising on an empty stomach. -This is where scheduling helps. Create a goal, set a date, set up a plan, & start... Make small achievable, realistic goals that lead you to your ultimate goal & within a set time frame. -to go from couch potato to run a marathon, your goal outline would be, (goal 1) start with a short walk, (goal 2) increase your distance, (goal 3) walk & jog, (goal 4) increase distance, (goal 5) jog & run, (goal 6) increase your distance... -get the picture-.The more you achieve these small goals, the more you will be inspired to keep going. Ideally you want to eat a big meal, a few hours prior to exercise & this meal needs to be high in Protein & Carbohydrates.

Protein is an important component of every cell in the body. ... Your body uses protein to build and repair tissues. You also use protein to make enzymes, hormones, and other body chemicals. Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood. Carbohydrates provide energy and regulation of blood glucose. It will prevent the degradation of skeletal muscle and other tissues such as the heart, liver, and kidneys. It prevents the breakdown of proteins for energy, enabling you to workout longer or harder. Carbohydrates also help with fat metabolism. The metabolic breakdown of dietary fats supports many life-sustaining functions. Metabolized fat is stored as a reserve source of energy for use when needed. Fat provides insulation to keep your body warm; the fat beneath your skin is a source of heat when skin temperature drops. Fat, cushions and protects your organs, and, in addition to your liver, fat provides storage for fat-soluble vitamins. Sources of good fats are nuts, avocado, seeds.

Foods high in Protein; Lentils, beans, chickpeas, grains, nuts, seeds, oats, quinoa, Vegetables with the most protein includes broccoli, spinach, asparagus, artichokes, potatoes, sweet potatoes and sprouts to name just a few. Fruit has lower protein levels, these are of the highest, guava, cherimoyas, mulberries, blackberries, nectarines and bananas. Again If your diet consists of fish, meat, dairy & eggs, I highly recommend organic with high levels of vegetables, fruits & grains.

Foods high in Carbohydrates: Fruit. Whole fruit and fruit juice, grains, bread, rice, crackers, and cereal. Legumes. Beans and other #plantbased proteins. Starchy vegetables, potatoes and corn.

Not forgetting, Water, which is fundamental to the body, The average adult human body is 50-65% water, averaging around 57-60%. The percentage of water in infants is much higher, typically around 75-78% water, dropping to 65% by one year of age. Body composition varies according to gender and fitness level because fatty tissue contains less water than lean tissue. Being dehydrated causes brain tissue fluid to decrease thus reducing brain volume and temporarily affecting cell function. ... At a cellular level, 'shrinkage' occurs as water is effectively borrowed to maintain other stores, such as the blood.

It is the incorporation of these food types & water that will boost the bodies immune system, including the balance of the mind. Exercise combined with the right food types gives motivation & energy to raise serotonin, that feel good chemical that boosts the feel good factor, with the cells hydrated & full of nutrients they will be working like a well oiled machine. This giving you the energy, which gives you the motivation, gives you the drive & the determination to hit the gym, go for that run, walk to work.. Whatever it is, you will feel so energized. And when you take that run, walk or workout. The serotonin levels are going to go sky high, as will your mood, your frame of mind, your whole outlook on life.

This is where we bring you back to #hypnosis, by changing your mindset, taking the resources you already possess, combining your bodies physical energy and motivation from the food you eat, Then using hypnosis to turn those feelings up, crank up the motivation, desire & drive. To enable you to be the person you dream of being. Stop dreaming. Allow me to take you to your new reality. Where colours are brighter. Good feelings are stronger. Imagine, for one moment how that might feel. To BE & feel that happy, healthy, vibrant, energized & focused. For your body & mind to be in peak shape, perfect balance. Now, what I call a double bonus. The higher quality of your cells also reduces ageing.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you have found it informative & helpful. #Hypnosis. Leading the way to a happier, healthier life.
